Children's Dentistry of Wichita Falls focuses on preventive care, early detection, and comprehensive dental treatments for infants through teens including special needs youngsters. We believe that healthy habits start at an early age which will insure beautiful, healthy smiles well into adult years. Together, we can help your child have a healthy smile that will last a lifetime.

At Children’s Dentistry your safety is our #1 concern. We call our parents about the parent’s and child’s symptoms and reschedule when sick. We check everyone’s temperature with an infrared thermometer and evaluate symptoms to reschedule as needed. We use soap, hand sanitizer, and gloves frequently at all of our sinks and stations. Equipment and building fixtures are all sanitized continuously.

Kids come in all different shapes and sizes. Follow “kid’s time.” Remember that all the things at home help shape how the dental appointment will go. Sedation is not magic - however, our glowing fish are!! Show your child the fish tank. Each child gets to choose from motion picture movies, TV programs and other audiovisual content streamed to overhead TV’s above each chair (MPLC’s Umbrella License®). Friendly, relaxing and even educational games in two game rooms help occupy the children.

We put young patients at easy using the best equipment available to help minimize anxiety. The child-sized lead apron with thyroid collars shields the patient from scatter radiation. Our soft, compact sensor design is handy for small mouths. Kid-friendly size sensors are smooth and capture the images of the teeth fast. Our handheld Nomad x-ray device exposes patients to less radiation than the average person receives in a day from natural sources like sunlight. It is one of the lowest dose diagnostic test in use. The AAPD recommends radiographs to be prescribed for children for clinical examination. The findings will affect treatment decisions. All instruments are thoroughly disinfected in multiple ways and individually wrapped.
